Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Temp on behalf of a growing manufacturing company with operations across North America. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in Abbotsford and play a key role in supporting HR initiatives, employee relations, and company growth.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Be able to organize and manage employee records and files
- Be able to assist with the creation, designing and implementation of various training programs
- Create job postings, conduct screening interviews, select suitable candidates, and forward resumes for further review to the department manager
- Organize and maintain various job ads as directed by the manager ensuring they remain within the validity periods
- Be able to perform any other duties as delegated while assisting the health and safety department
Qualification:
- Ideal candidate must have at least 2 years or more experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Must carry a certification or diploma in Business Administration, Office management, HR, or a related field
- Must have knowledge of workplace law
- Having proficiency in computer skills such as Excel, Word, Outlook is required for this role
- Having knowledge of GMP’s, Food Safety standards and WHMIS will be considered an asset to the selection of this role
- Must have own transportation
Salary & Schedule:
- $20-$25 per hour based on previous skills & experience
- Full time permanent
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours weekly
