Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of our client, a growing industrial manufacturing company based in Mission, BC, is recruiting for a Head of Marketing.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced marketing professional with strong digital, brand, and team management expertise. The role will oversee marketing initiatives across Canada and international markets, leading both the vision and execution of high-impact campaigns and events.
Duties
As the Head of Marketing, you'll lead a diverse portfolio of initiatives and ensure the brand remains consistent, innovative, and competitive across all channels. Key areas of responsibility include:
Marketing Strategy & Direction
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
- Identify and assess growth opportunities in both new product segments and geographic markets.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to support business development through strategic marketing initiatives.
Digital & Traditional Campaign Management
- Lead paid digital advertising efforts (Google Ads, Meta, YouTube), monitor KPIs, and report performance.
- Coordinate the development of marketing assets across print, web, video, signage, and apparel.
- Oversee website updates (WordPress), SEO optimization, and basic troubleshooting using HTML/CSS.
Sales & Dealer Support
- Act as the main point of contact for marketing requests from the dealer network across North America.
- Develop co-branded sales tools, product literature, brochures, and signage to support field sales teams.
Events & Trade Shows
- Plan, organize, and execute company-hosted events and industry trade shows.
- Manage budgets, logistics, booth design, and vendor coordination.
Motorsports Marketing
- Manage sponsorships, merchandise, decals, vehicle wraps, and all related branding.
- Oversee social media accounts and content related to Motorsports marketing.
Market Research & Content Strategy
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform marketing decisions.
- Maintain accurate marketing databases, including lead and dealer information.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in a full-cycle marketing role.
- 5+ years of experience leading teams and managing department functions.
- Proven success in developing and executing paid digital campaigns and analyzing performance data.
- Proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or industrial sectors is an asset.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Willing and able to travel occasionally within Canada and internationally.
