NOW HIRING: Temporary Finance Clerk – Procurement
Guelph, ON | 45-Day Assignment | $22–$27/hr (Based on Experience)
Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Express Employment Professionals Guelph is hiring for a Temporary Finance Clerk to support the Procurement team within a respected organization in Guelph. This is a 45-day assignment offering a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic Finance department.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Process requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring proper approvals and compliance with policies
- Manage duties related to the Corporate Purchasing Card (P-Card) program:
- Process applications and issue cards
- Maintain cardholder records
- Reconcile monthly statements and generate reports
- Maintain electronic purchasing data and digital records for audit purposes
- Create and process orders for internal Finance department use
- Administer and update vendor database in JDE
- Respond to general purchasing inquiries and liaise with the Procurement team as needed
- Support the team with other administrative or clerical duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Experience with procurement or finance processes preferred
- Familiarity with JDE or similar ERP systems is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
