Software Programmer
Location: Guelph, ON
Salary: $81,000–$91,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Work Type: Hybrid opportunities available after probationary period

Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements of software modifications and determine the most effective solutions
- Write and maintain software programs or modules to support online applications
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and reports to support business functions
- Participate in software testing, implementation, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Produce quality code efficiently and meet project deadlines
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience as a Programmer/Analyst
- Strong and recent experience with PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Advanced programming skills in developing web solutions for enterprise applications
- Strong expertise with SQL (Oracle or similar RDBMS)
- Experience with Laravel is a significant asset
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Git-based workflows
- Solid understanding of web application architecture, client-server integration, and browser performance optimization
- Experience using Artificial Intelligence within the software development lifecycle is an asset
- Ability to mentor junior developers is highly desirable
