Bookkeeper - Evaluation Hire
Location: Guelph, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Job Description
Express Employment Professionals Guelph is hiring on behalf of a local company in Guelph for a Bookkeeper role.
Responsibilities
- Daily transactions, accounts payable and receivable and fund accounting within QuickBooks online
- Preparing cheques and deposits, completing month-end account reconciliation and process payroll
- Maintain accurate coding for financial statements and fund tracking
- Assist with year-end audit preparation including schedules, documentation and fund balances
- Generate financial reports and statements for management review
- Ensure internal controls are followed and improved where needed
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 2-5 years experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
- Must have experience using QuickBooks online, experience with ADP is a strong asset
