Press Feeder – Printing Press (Evaluation to Hire)
Location: Guelph, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday – Full Time

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a local printing company seeking an experienced Press Feeder to support production on a Mitsubishi printing press. This is a full-time opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Piling and flipping paper during press runs
- Assist the Press Operator with the setup, operation, and maintenance of a Mitsubishi Printing Press
- Prepare materials and supplies required for production
- Monitor equipment during runs and ensure smooth operation
- Complete quality checks to ensure prints meet required standards
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and support press maintenance
- Ensure paper and other materials are ready to maintain efficient production with minimal changeover
- Maintain documentation of preventative maintenance and repair activities
- Participate in cross-training opportunities and assist other departments when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and production protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with printing presses strongly preferred
- Mechanically inclined with a strong production mindset
- High standard for quality and pride in workmanship
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to regularly stand and walk throughout the shift
- Comfortable using hands to handle materials and equipment
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs
Responsibilities include preparing materials for printing, monitoring equipment during runs, ensuring prints meet quality standards, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and efficient time management to maintain effective operations. As a Press Feeder, you will assist in operating and maintaining Mitsubishi printing press machines to ensure seamless production processes.
