Parts Advisor/Forklift Operator - Guelph, ON

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Direct Hire | $55,000-$70,000/year

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Parts Advisor/Forklift Operator on behalf of a confidential client in the heavy equipment and commercial vehicle industry.

This is a hands-on role responsible for parts procurement, inventory management, customer service, shipping/receiving, shop support and forklift operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, order, receive, and distribute truck, hydraulic, and equipment parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts.
• Assist customers, technicians, and internal staff with identifying and sourcing parts.
• Process returned merchandise and warranty claims, including preparing and shipping warranty parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory, parts, and customer records.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading.
• Operate a forklift safely as required.
• Provide professional and responsive customer service to customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, automotive, trucking, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of truck, hydraulic, or equipment parts is an asset.
• Waste management or commercial vehicle experience is an asset.
• Experience with inventory systems, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Valid forklift certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
