Overview
Our client, is a supplier of high quality steel located in the City of Hamilton at the western end of Lake Ontario on the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Here is What You Will Be Doing
We need individuals who understand project management best practices. You will work with engineers and project managers who plan, execute, and deliver capital projects to support the manufacturing and processes of our plants. A good understanding of project management tools/techniques, technical scope development, business case analysis, cost/budget estimation, scheduling and calculation of CPI, SPI and NPV are required.
Are you Qualified?
· knowledge of project & construction management in a heavy industrial environment is required with general understanding of steel manufacturing processes.
· Capital investment processes / approvals, including business case, technical studies, project scope development, equipment procurement, risk management, planning, scheduling, commissioning, and start-up.
· Application of construction management standards, including kick-offs, Safe Work Permit Process, Multi-discipline Commissioning Procedures, H&S Standards, including application of the Ontario Health & Safety Act & Regulations.
· Minimum B.Sc. Engineering from a recognized institute.
· MBA or PMP certification is considered an asset.
· Ten (10) years’ job-related experience is preferred.

Pay
1- Junior Project Manager: Experience 3 to 5 years -$70 to $80.
2- Intermediate Project Manager: Experience 6 to 10 years, $80 to $100.
Pay: $70.00-$100.00 per hour
