Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of tax regulations and be able to assist small businesses and individuals in preparing their tax returns accurately and efficiently.
Duties
- Maintaining financial records.
- Confirming compliance with CRA rules.
- Reviewing personal, and corporate financial statements.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
- Analyzing financial information.
- Assisting in tax preparation for personal and corporate clients.
- General Bookkeeping duties.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- 3-4 years' experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role is required.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop and Online Taxcycle, Doxcycle
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
- Ability to work under pressure during peak tax season while managing multiple client accounts efficiently.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification as a CPA or Enrolled Agent is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time Temporary
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 hours per week
