Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our client in the Hamilton location. Duties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Conduct account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Support auditing processes by preparing necessary documentation.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, or similar tools for efficient financial management.
Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, or other accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping practices.
- Familiarity with corporate finance principles and financial services.
- Experience in account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and auditing procedures.
