Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our client in the Hamilton area. This full-time, on-site position involves engaging customers to understand their filtration needs, preparing detailed quotations, and managing the full sales process from inquiry to order completion. You will work closely with our engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of custom filtration products.

Our client has been in the market since 1979. They are a trusted Canadian manufacturer of custom filtration solutions serving diverse industries.

Duties

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, quotations, and orders.
  • Assess client needs and provide technical recommendations and custom solutions.
  • Prepare and follow up on detailed quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales.
  • Process orders accurately within ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAGE 300, Salesforce).
  • Create and manage bills of material for quoting and production requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and marketing teams to meet customer and company objectives.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and trend reports.
  • Conduct outbound and inbound sales calls and proactively pursue new business opportunities.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication and support.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or order desk roles (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with B2B and technology sales.
  • Strong telemarketing or outbound calling abilities.
  • Ability to develop detailed manufacturing build sheets to customer specifications.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a proactive approach to customer service and business development.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret drawings, specifications, or product data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using ERP and CRM systems (SAGE 300, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to negotiate, manage multiple priorities, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of filtration systems or industrial process equipment is a strong asset.
  • Bilingual in English and French considered an advantage.
