Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker. Our client was founded in 2012 and is Custom Furniture and Millwork company -- with 2 facilities totaling over 20,000 sq. ft. to serve their clientele. This role involves crafting high-quality cabinetry and custom woodwork, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom cabinets, furniture and millwork
- Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
- Cut, shape, sand, and assemble wood components
- Operate woodworking machinery (table saws, routers, sanders etc)
- Perform finishing work such as sanding, staining or prepping for finish
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace
- Work collaboratively with other shop team members
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinetry making or woodworking with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment.
