Known for quality workmanship and long-standing client relationships, they are continuing to grow and are looking to add an experienced Commercial Painting Estimator to their team.
About the Role
As the Commercial Painting Estimator, you will be a key point of contact for both existing and prospective clients. You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates, supporting customer relationships, and contributing to business growth through strong pricing strategies and professional service.

Key ResponsibilitiesEstimating & Pricing
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial and industrial painting projects
- Price production work using established industry standards
- Estimate non-standard work in collaboration with the General Manager
- Maintain pricing structures and stay current with supplier and market pricing
Customer & Sales Support
- Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email
- Present and explain estimates, products, and services clearly and confidently
- Respond promptly to customer questions, concerns, and changes
- Support sales efforts through service, education, and solution-based problem solving
Coordination & Administration
- Coordinate with management and operations to ensure accurate job handoffs
- Follow company systems, procedures, and estimating processes
- Maintain organized documentation and job records
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements to management
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial painting (estimating, sales, or operations)
- Strong understanding of construction costing and estimating methods
- Experience in customer service and/or sales
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF-based estimating tools
- Strong phone presence and professional communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
