Our client is currently seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with large trucks and fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
This position is open to both licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technicians as well as experienced mechanics with strong heavy truck repair experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and fleet vehicles
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
- Repair or replace components including engines, brakes, suspensions, and driveline systems
- Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and complete repairs efficiently
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety and industry standards
Qualifications
- 310T Truck & Coach Technician License is an asset but not required
- Previous experience working on heavy trucks or large commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
