What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety checks
- Identify and mark coils and materials accurately
- Conduct routine equipment inspections
- Handle heavy general labour tasks in a steel manufacturing environment
- Lift, bend, push, and pull materials safely throughout your shift
- Work safely around machinery, heat, and industrial equipment
- Support production teams to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking For
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in manufacturing, steel, construction, or heavy labour environments
- Comfortable working in high heat, dusty, and noisy conditions
- Ability to safely wear required PPE
- Basic hand tool experience
- Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, comprehension)
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
