Our client is currently seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work with heavy trucks and fleet vehicles, diagnosing issues, and keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently.
This role is open to both licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technicians and experienced heavy truck mechanics with strong hands-on repair experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and fleet vehicles
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to ensure equipment reliability
- Repair or replace components including engines, brakes, suspension, and driveline systems
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and complete repairs efficiently
- Maintain accurate service records and maintenance documentation
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
- 310T Truck & Coach Technician License considered an asset, but not required
- Previous experience working on heavy trucks, diesel engines, or large commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
