Overview:
Our client is a growing business in Hamilton that specializes in providing customers with quality after-market pump parts, repairs and related services. We are currently looking for an Assembly Technician / Shop Worker.
Duties
· Dismantle, inspect and assess repair work and document findings
· Work with lead technicians to develop scope of work required for repair
· Assemble repair work and document
· Operate dynamic balance, document results
· Operate EDM
· Repair and dress castings
Experience
· Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred
· Familiarity with machining processes and caliper usage is a plus
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
· Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks
Other Skills to Be Considered an Asset:
· Welding
· Forklift Experience
· Certificate of qualification as General Machinist
