About The Role:
Our client is a leading 60+ year old manufacturer of high-quality laboratory furniture for industrial, pharmaceutical, education and healthcare markets.
We are currently hiring for an Industrial Coater for their growing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify if parts are dry from wash before coating.
- Apply accurate amount of powder coating using a spray gun
- Sand and rework parts to acceptable quality when there is any rework
- Maintain coating guns and machines on a daily basis
- Troubleshoot basic problems with coating equipment
- Report defects in coating equipment or spare parts
- Participate in color change process including cleaning the booth
- Recognize and troubleshoot problems related to powder coating defects and adjust accordingly.
- Follow the coating department's break times
- Maintain a clean coating area
What We Are Looking For:
- Powder coating experience
- Ability to wear a fit-tested respirator for safety purposes
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Good organizational skills
- Able to establish between different colors on the color spectrum
