About The Position:
Our client is a dental clinic located in Ancaster, ON that focus’ on providing exceptional patient centered treatment.
The successful candidate in this role will have a passion for building strong patient relationships, excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time.
Wage: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Coordinator explains treatment plants, procedures, and associated costs to patients, ensuring they understand their options and feel comfortable
- Managing scheduling for patients and optimizing team scheduling
- Verifying patient health insurance benefits – obtaining pre-authorizations and submitting claims
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
What We Are Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in a treatment coordinator role
- Experience with Dentrix
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain information collection and management system
- Must have strong decision-making skills and planning
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
- Working knowledge of dental insurance
