Our client is seeking hardworking and reliable General Labourers to join their team in Hamilton, Ontario. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team that installs high-quality artificial turf and sports field systems.
This is a physically demanding role that requires candidates to be comfortable performing manual labour throughout the day and safely lifting up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with traffic monitoring and site safety procedures
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies
- Assist with the installation of artificial turf, rubber, and sand materials
- Open and prepare material bags for installation
- Unroll and position artificial turf sections
- Cut and trim turf to specifications
- Hold turf sections together using clamps during stitching and gluing processes
- Place bars and materials for hot-melt gluing applications
- Rake turf fibres and installation materials as required
- Perform general site clean-up, including removal of turf scraps, pallets, and other debris
- Assist with sports field equipment assembly, including goal posts and related equipment
- Follow all health and safety procedures while working on-site
- Support team members with various labour tasks as required
Qualifications
- Previous construction, landscaping, general labour, or outdoor work experience is considered an asset
- Ability to safely and consistently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Excellent attention to safety and site procedures

- Repetitive bending, kneeling, crouching, and standing
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Comfortable working on active construction and sports field installation sites
