Location: Ancaster, Ontario

Our client specializes in creating innovative retail environments and custom design solutions from concept through installation. We are looking for a creative, organized, and client-focused Project Manager | Conceptual Designer to join their growing team.

The Opportunity
As the Project Manager | Conceptual Designer, you will guide projects from the initial client consultation through design development and final installation. You'll work closely with clients to understand their vision, develop conceptual layouts using SketchUp, and collaborate with the internal design team to deliver outstanding retail environments.
We're looking for someone who is confident working directly with clients; however, we're also open to developing a strong designer who may not yet have extensive client-facing experience.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand project goals, vision, and design requirements.
- Develop and modify conceptual retail designs using SketchUp.
- Translate client ideas into creative, functional design concepts.
- Collaborate with the design team to bring concepts through production.
- Coordinate projects from concept to installation.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are organized, accurate, and completed on schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience with conceptual design, retail design, or structural retail displays.
- Strong proficiency in SketchUp.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in project management is considered an asset.
