Job Full Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Processor to join our team in the meat industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meat cutting and food processing, with a focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. As a Processor, you will play a vital role in preparing and packaging products while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform meat cutting and fabrication tasks according to established guidelines
- Operate machinery and equipment used in food processing, ensuring proper functionality and safety
- Sanitate work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Package finished products for distribution while adhering to quality control measures
- Monitor food safety practices throughout the processing stages to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and product quality
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in meat cutting or as a butcher is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to food processing equipment is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the food industry is essential
- Experience in food processing or related fields will be considered an asset
