Job Full Description
We are currently assisting with recruitment for a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor for a client in the Sarnia area. This is a long term role with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a cross-functional team of process technicians, electricians, and fabrication personnel to ensure timely, safe, and accurate completion of work orders.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to report and address products or process non-conformances.
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of shop and lab equipment, including lathes, laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC routers, furnaces, and exhaust systems.
- Contribute to weekly operational meetings by identifying health and safety concerns and providing project status updates.
- Lead and sustain 5S workplace organization and efficiency initiatives throughout the facility.
- Design, build, and equip workstations to support adhesive application and assembly processes.
- Construct custom jigs and fixtures to improve speed, consistency, and quality in prototype development.
- Provide design improvement feedback in coordination with engineering teams and external suppliers.
- Oversee prototype integration for test setups in controlled environments, including fluid connections, wiring harness installations, and coordination of PLC automation readiness to meet safety and operational standards.
- Serve as the primary trainer for plant machinery, ensuring employees are properly instructed in safe and effective equipment use.
Wage: $80,000 - $95,000.00/Year
