Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Seamstress/Sewer to join a local manufacturing team that specializes in producing high-quality industrial covers and tarps. If you have sewing experience and enjoy hands-on, detail-focused work, this could be the perfect fit!
Responsibilities:
- Sew industrial covers using canvas and other heavy-duty fabrics
- Operate an industrial sewing machine to complete large fabric pieces
- Follow instructions provided by the Production Manager to ensure products are completed accurately and on schedule
- Assist the team in meeting daily and weekly production goals
- Ensure finished products meet quality standards before shipment
Qualifications:
- Sewing skills required; industrial sewing experience is an asset
- Any sewing experience will be considered — client is willing to train
- Physically fit and able to lift 30 lbs repetitively
- Able to sit for long periods, bend, and perform repetitive wrist motions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Wage: $18.50/Hour
