Our Port Coquitlam client is looking for reliable & outgoing team players as their businesses require more support in preparation for the holiday season ahead.
Job Information:
- This role pays $19 an hour
- On-Call (24 hours notice) for shifts
- Shift start times vary from 7:30am-3:30pm start times
- Local company in Port Coquitlam!
- The role is primarily loading & unloading, organizing the warehouse, creating boxes, wrapping pallets & heavy-lifting of up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload containers
- Assist with inventory management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience with heavy-duty material handling in a manufacturing environment is required (not order picking warehouse experience)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
- Must have reliable transportation
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Steel toe boots
- Strong communication: written & verbal
