Job Full Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and be able to work with precision and attention to detail. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to specifications. The Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products while adhering to safety standards.

This role is currently not open to students or those who are looking for temporary roles.

Shift: Monday to Friday : rotates every 2 weeks

Days 6am - 2pm, Afternoon 2pm - 10pm, and nights 10pm - 6am

Pay: $25.75/hour + 4% vacation pay

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively to complete tasks.
  • Operate machinery such as plasma cutting machines, press brake machines, and forklifts as needed.
  • Conduct rigging operations for lifting heavy materials safely using cranes.
  • Assemble components accurately according to specifications while maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.

Skills

  • Proficient in MIG welding, TIG welding, and other welding techniques.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery and systems.
  • Experience with machining processes and the use of calipers for precise measurements.
  • Familiarity with ductwork fabrication and construction practices.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively.
  • Competence in using various hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely.
  • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
