We are hiring an Industrial Electrician for a large manufacturing company in the Mississauga area. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience and is certified 442A.

Sunday-Thursday Night Shift (with flexibility to support on other shifts if needed)

Job Description:
· Ensures proper operation of manufacturing equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, drives, PLC’s, pumps, pneumatic tools, and production machines, following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions.
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and drawings.
· Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair, and maintain industrial machinery, electrical and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and up-time
· Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
· Work closely with area operators to resolve maintenance related issues with the ability to communicate the issues and resolutions to Operators, Managers and Peers directly or via email.
· Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in an industrial setting.
· Inspect electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair to resolve quality and safety issues.
· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
Requirements:
· Must be Red Seal Industrial Electrician (442A)
· 5+ years of experience in a production environment preferred
· Experience with PLC/Controls/Electronics, PLC Automaton Controls
