Job Full Description
Our client in the Brampton area is looking to add Delivery Drivers to their team on an ongoing, full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate has good communication and customer service skills and can be the face of the company when they are delivering to client's sites.
*All applicants are welcome, but this position is not currently open to students*
Day shift : Monday to Friday 7.00am - 4.00pm
Pay: $21.00/hour-$21.27/hour
Job Details:
- Deliver products to clients, with 6-8 stops per day
- Lifting up to 50lbs, unloading and loading the company van
- Driving the company cube van and obeying all traffic laws
- Assist in the warehouse with moving product and stock, inventory control, organizing the warehouse
- Customer service - you will be the face of the company in front of the clients
Experience
- Full G license with a clear driver's abstract, verifiable reference
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Good attendance and reliable transportation
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to load, unload, and transport goods safely in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
