We are looking for experienced Robotic welders for a automotive manufacturing company in the Brampton area. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2+ year of robotic welding experience and is flexible to work day, afternoon, nights and weekends.
Monday-Friday
Day: 7:00AM-3:15PM
Afternoons: 3:00PM-11:15PM
Nights: 11:00PM-7:15AM
Pay rate: $19/hour - $22/hour + 4% vacation pay ( based on experience )
Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate robotic welding equipment according to specifications and work orders.
- Operate weld/ assembly equipment
- Operate resistance welding equipment
- Operate tube forming/secondary operation equipment.
- Complete all necessary paperwork affiliated with production.
- Change tips as required. (if applicable)
- Maintain a high standard of quality product.
- Meet production schedules.
- Receive ongoing Cross Training on all welders and assembly equipment.
- Document production activities, including machine settings, inspection results, and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize welding procedures and improve overall efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to promote workplace safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating robotic welding systems or similar automated manufacturing equipment.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, metallurgy, and safety procedures.
- Previous work experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of weld equipment
- Knowledge of weld penetration an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent English skills both oral and written.
