We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker with a focus on automotive manufacturing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and handling automotive components with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and familiarity with warehouse operations. Pay Rate: $17.60/hour - $19.00/hour (plus 4% vacation pay)
Available Shifts:
- Days - 7:00am - 3:15pm
- Afternoon - 3:00pm - 11:15pm
- Night - 11:00pm - 7:15am
(Must be flexible to work all 3 shifts)
Duties
- Operate and monitor packaging equipment and packaging according to product specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections on assembled parts to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work station to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of assembly lines or manufacturing stations
- Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols during all production activities
- Support inventory management by accurately recording parts usage and reporting shortages
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and resolve any assembly issues promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing or automotive assembly environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems or components is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical tasks required
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Must have a valid reference from a previous employer
- Must have reliable source of transportation
- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
