Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in both hand and power tools. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of components, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. This position requires a commitment to safety and efficiency within a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble components according to specifications
- Fabricate parts as needed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Perform routine inspections of assembled products to ensure functionality and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Assist in inventory management by tracking materials used during assembly processes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in assembly or similar roles within a warehouse setting is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional certifications related to assembly or manufacturing are a plus
Wage: $18.00 - $20.00/Hour
