Job Full Description
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Service Technician with a strong background in general maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work. This hands-on role involves performing a wide range of repair, installation, and maintenance tasks in residential or light commercial settings. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable with tools, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall repair, door and window installation, and trim work
- Handle basic plumbing repairs and installations including faucets, toilets, drains, and minor leak fixes
- Conduct basic electrical work such as installing light fixtures, replacing switches/outlets, and troubleshooting minor issues
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete a wide range of service tasks
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance problems efficiently and accurately
- Respond to client inquiries and provide professional, courteous service
- Assist in lifting and moving materials and equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and to standard
Qualifications:
- Solid working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical systems
- Proficient in the safe use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous experience in residential or light commercial maintenance or construction is highly desirable
- Problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn new techniques and skills
- Basic welding or HVAC knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Wage: Up to $20.00/Hour
