Job Full Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Valve Technician with experience in API/ANSI valve assembly and testing. This hands-on role involves assembling, inspecting, maintaining, and testing a variety of valves and components in accordance with OEM specifications. If you're a detail-oriented technician with strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with industrial valves, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, service, and calibrate valves according to OEM specifications using various tools and equipment
- Perform inspection, maintenance, and testing of valves and actuators, including ASVS servicing
- Work with production and service controls to ensure operational readiness
- Identify, troubleshoot, and repair valve and actuator issues
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of service and testing procedures
- Operate and maintain tools, test equipment, and machinery in a safe and efficient manner
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar valve technician or mechanical role
- Strong understanding of valve types and brands, including (but not limited to):
- Grove, WKM, Cameron, Rockwell, Bettis, PBV, Erichsen, Meridian, Mastergear, Balon, Rotork, Nutron, Barber, Argus
- Experience with ball valves, gate valves, check valves, gear operators, and actuators
- Familiarity with API/ANSI standards
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety-conscious with a commitment to quality
