Job Full Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and manufacturing processes, with hands-on experience operating various machinery and tools. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines to produce high-quality components
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operations and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production
- Perform quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to maintain product specifications
- Assemble components according to established guidelines and specifications
- Conduct basic maintenance on machinery and report any issues to supervisors
- Package finished products for shipment while adhering to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and workflow
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, including experience with Fanuc systems
- Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for design interpretation
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing processes
- Ability to operate forklifts safely within a warehouse environment
- Experience with welding techniques is a plus
- Strong understanding of basic math principles for measurements and calculations
- Competence in using hand tools for assembly tasks
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial, particularly in quality control processes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Wage: $19.00/Hour
