Job Full Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join their team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while ensuring top-quality service and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and performing thorough inspections to identify problems
- Repair or replace parts including brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension systems
- Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues
- Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs and proper functionality
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and service manuals for accurate work
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations
- Adhere to safety procedures and workplace guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanical repairs
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to follow technical manuals and manufacturer guidelines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Commitment to workplace safety
