Job Full Description
Our client is seeking a creative, hands-on Prop Maker & Studio Assistant to support in-house production for a photo studio. This role focuses on building, assembling, and preparing custom photo props and themed station pieces.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fabricate custom photo props and studio merchandise using laser-cut and Cricut-produced components
- Operate Cricut machines and XTool S1 40W laser engraver/cutter
- Create modular and interchangeable props for themed photo stations
- Prepare complete prop sets for multiple studio stations
- Support tabletop builds and multi-station production work
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient studio workspace
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience using Cricut machines
- Experience with laser cutting/engraving equipment (XTool or similar)
- Strong crafting, assembly, and light fabrication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a studio environment
- Sewing skills are an asset
- Experience creating props or working in a maker space or creative studio
Wage: $21.00/Hour

- Job Type: Part-Time | Evaluation Hire (Long-Term Opportunity)
- Hours: 10+ hours per week (2 shifts per week, approx. 5 hours each)
- Schedule: Day or evening shifts available
