Job Full Description
We're seeking a reliable and skilled G Driver to join a dynamic team in Ottawa's West end. To qualify, you must hold a valid G License, possess a clean Criminal Record, and have a clean Driver's Abstract. If you're a safe, reliable, and customer-focused driver, we want to hear from you!
Required skills and qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience operating a commercial vehicle (3 ton or larger)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based settings
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience
- Ability to listen to and follow instructions accurately
- Familiarity with Ottawa, Gatineau, and surrounding areas
- Must have a clean criminal record and Driver's Abstract
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Safely operate a 3-5 ton truck to deliver products to 10-15 locations per day in the Ottawa area, primarily restaurants and grocery stores
- Lift up to 45lbs to unload products at client sites
- Conduct pre and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance standards
- Work in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team

Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm (Sometimes beyond 4:00pm depending on traffic and weather conditions)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Wage: $22.00 per hour
