Team Leader, Light Industrial and Skilled Trades 

Krista joined Express in February 2018, bringing with her more than a decade of experience as an Office and Operations Manager within the automotive and skilled trades industries. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario’s Philosophy program, she has built a strong reputation for fostering productive, long‑lasting relationships with clients, employees, and customers alike.

With firsthand insight into the challenges companies face in today’s competitive hiring landscape, Krista is deeply committed to helping organizations attract, secure, and retain top talent. She is equally passionate about supporting job seekers—guiding individuals toward meaningful career opportunities that align with their strengths, values, and long‑term goals.

Employment Specialist, Light Industrial 

John joined the Express team in May 2023, bringing with him more than a decade of experience in customer service, sales, and client‑focused roles, supported by a strong academic foundation from Algonquin College. His background spans several industries, giving him a well‑rounded perspective and a versatile skill set that he applies daily in his work.

With a genuine passion for helping others, John thrives in one‑on‑one environments where he can offer personalized guidance and meaningful support. His career path includes retail management at Foot Locker, personal training at GoodLife Fitness, and insurance adjusting—each role strengthening his ability to communicate effectively, problem‑solve under pressure, and build trust with clients from all walks of life. These experiences have shaped him into a professional who consistently delivers exceptional service and strives to exceed expectations.

John’s commitment to excellence is evident in the relationships he builds and the care he brings to every interaction. He is driven by a desire to empower others, whether he’s helping someone navigate a challenge, achieve a goal, or find the right opportunity. Away from the office, John is passionate about sports and fitness. He enjoys weightlifting, hockey, golf, and fishing—activities that keep him active and grounded. He also places a high value on his personal relationships, spending much of his free time with his large family and close friends.

Connor McKibbin, CPC

Senior Employment Specialist, Office Services and Accounting/Finance 

Connor joined the Express team in October 2022 as a dedicated Employment Specialist, bringing with him a strong academic background in Psychology from Carleton University. Originally from Calgary, Alberta, he relocated to Ottawa to pursue his studies and build a career centered around helping others. His education provided him with a deep understanding of human behavior, motivation, and interpersonal dynamics—insights he now applies daily when supporting job seekers and employers.

Connor’s professional experience is uniquely diverse, spanning labour roles, sales, and customer service. His time as a Retail Store Manager with Bell Canada was especially formative, giving him hands‑on experience in recruitment, talent development, team leadership, and customer relations. This blend of practical and people‑focused experience has shaped him into a well‑rounded professional with a natural ability to connect with others.

In his role at Express, Connor leverages his communication skills, industry knowledge, and empathetic approach to create successful matches between candidates and employers. He is passionate about building meaningful relationships and takes pride in offering personalized guidance to individuals navigating their career paths.

Outside the office, Connor enjoys a variety of hobbies that reflect his creative and curious nature. He is an avid reader, a movie enthusiast, and a skilled drummer. He’s also a devoted cat parent.

Mia Lacroix

Bilingual Recruitment Specialist    

Mia joined the Express team in August 2023, bringing a passion for all aspects of human resources. As she begins her career in recruitment and placement, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resources Management at the University of Ottawa.

With a natural talent for helping individuals find fulfilling employment and achieve professional satisfaction, Mia has found a perfect fit with Express. Her innate passion for supporting others in their career journeys is evident in her approach to her work.

As a bilingual professional, Mia is proficient in both English and French, enabling her to provide exceptional support to clients in both languages. This skill allows her to effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients, facilitating successful placements and fostering strong relationships.

Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Mia enjoys exploring the diverse culinary scene in Ottawa, sampling cuisine from various cultures. In her downtime, she can be found watching the latest television series or cheering on the Montreal Canadiens.

Stephanie Tremblay

Payroll - Administrative Coordinator

Stephanie joined the Express team in April 2026, bringing with her a unique blend of creativity, discipline, and customer‑focused experience. Before transitioning into the administrative and business world, Stephanie spent nearly a decade building her career in the culinary industry, working in several bakeries where she honed her skills in cake decorating, baking, and front‑line customer service.

Although she loved the craft, Stephanie eventually decided it was time to reclaim baking as a personal passion rather than a profession. With that shift, she turned her attention back to her academic foundation. She graduated from the Business Accounting program at Algonquin College in April 2020, and she is now excited to apply her education in a role that allows her to support others and contribute to meaningful work.

Driven by a genuine passion for helping people, Stephanie is eager to see the impact she can make at Express—both with clients and within the internal team. Her background in fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environments has equipped her with strong organizational skills, a calm approach under pressure, and a natural ability to connect with others.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time in the kitchen baking for fun, listening to true‑crime podcasts, and making memories with her sister, two nephews, and close friends. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a steady presence to everything she does, both professionally and personally.
