Our client, a public accounting firm in Orleans, is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to be the backbone of their dynamic team! In this role, you'll play a vital part in driving day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional support to their team. You'll have the chance to make a real impact in a small, professional environment and contribute to the success of their clients.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) required
- 2+ years of administrative experience in a professional environment, with a proven track record of delivering top-notch support
- Customer-centric approach with exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships
- Microsoft Office expertise, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles is an asset, but not required
- Self-starter who thrives in independent and team-based settings
- Super-organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking, prioritizing, and adapting to changing deadlines
- Eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
- Comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines during peak periods
Assets:
- Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Familiarity with popular accounting software like QuickBooks Online and Sage
- Experience thriving in an accounting firm or similar environment
- Post-secondary education in a related field like Business Administration, Commerce, or Accounting
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare, format, and proofread documents for accuracy and quality
- Update client information in the CRM system to ensure data accuracy and relevance on a daily and month end basis
- Provide administrative assistance to management and the team as needed
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval and compliance
- Answer and respond to incoming calls and emails from clients in a timely and professional manner
- Redirect calls and emails to relevant team members as needed
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and courier services efficiently
- Perform other administrative tasks to support the team's productivity and efficiency

Hourly Rate: $23.08 - $25.64 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, 37.5 hours per week.
