Our client, a respected National Non-profit Association, is seeking a Senior Social Media Coordinator to help develop and maintain a successful social media presence, enhancing the organization's brand across various platforms, driving engagement, and fostering a strong online community. This role involves overseeing social media channels, identifying top influencers, creating content, analyzing performance, and reporting insights.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage social media calendar and drive social media strategy
  • Create engaging, high-quality content (text, images, videos) tailored to different platforms and audiences
  • Foster online communities through timely engagement with followers, responding to comments, queries, and messages
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance to inform and optimize strategies
  • Use analytical tools to gauge social campaign success and prepare regular reports
  • Collaborate with marketing, education, and other teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding
  • Provide social media coverage of events and activities as required
  • Stay up-to-date with latest social media trends, tools, and best practices
  • Contribute to social media strategic and operations planning
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on effective social media practices and tools
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Marketing

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Must be fluently bilingual (English and French)
  • College diploma or certificate in marketing, social media management, public relations, journalism, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media management in a professional setting (not personal use), focusing on strategy execution, analytics, and reporting
  • Not-for-profit experience and volunteer management a plus
  • Expert-level knowledge of social media platforms, trends, analytics tools, and best practices
  • Familiarity with social media advertising strategies and ad placements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other design tools
  • Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Strong team player with ability to work independently and collaboratively

Typical hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am-9:00am to 4:00pm-5:00pm (Flexible start/end time)

Salary: $69,000 - $72,000 per year depending on experience
